Riverc0il has a very well written report from the day, I'll just link to it here and provide some additional color and perspective. I'm with him 100% on his views. Never found him that day can't say I didn't try!
It was $9 rollback day, so the place was filled with college and high school faces. Our club scored free vouchers and we had three dozen folks on the slopes. We skied our brains out from the opening bell (8 AM on a week day is pretty good!) until about 1:30 when it was getting pretty scratchy.
The MWV sure needs snow and would be out of action without snowmaking.
There was a fairly good base, but as River said, it wasn't full width. You had to pay attention to where you were going.
I stayed at the Ski Wheelers Lodge for $28 which included breakfast. I'll write separately about that.
