Found myself at 96 days this week. With killington looking rough, hopped a redeye yesterday with my nine year old daughter for a long weekend at crystal. Today started out with a lightning hold until around 10:00, we finally loaded the gondola as the sky started to clear. Got in around a dozen runs before the winds whipped up around 1:00. Good timing because her legs were shot. Fun days, deep cream cheese everywhere. Good amount of terrain available off green valley. Back at it tomorrow for day #98.

Cute little ripper girl! What's that peak behind her in last photo?

That is rainier, would make for a great picture but best I can determine it is obstructed by clouds for all but about 12 minutes a year.

Strange to say but today was probably our best of the year. Gorgeous weather, cool crowd and we were both just feeling it, nearly wire to wire. Will put up some more pictures later but if crystal regularly offered days like this, it would be in the conversation with other top areas in the country.

Didn't make wire to wire because the daughter decided to do some hiking. I peeled off to a bump line and then could not find her at the lift. Started hiking up and found her hiking. Some stranger was shook up after yardsailing down half the bowl. She decided to boot pack several hundred vertical to retrieve his gear off the headwall. It's natural to occasionally question the necessity of silly goals like 100 days but events like this remind you that community is the most important part of this lifestyle.

Awesome trip report, I've heard Crystal has some outstanding terrain. Did you end up hitting 100 days?
