Ok, I just rechecked the average temperatures for New York. This is based on historical data:

First I should point out that there is enough data to remove anomalies in these tables of averages, at least when rounded to the nearest integer. If charted on a line chart, it would come to a smooth bell curve (actually a sin wave) with no spikes or canyons in the whole year.

* The average high temperature tops out at 86ºF, and that average high is for the dates July 23rd to July 25th, suggesting that the day with the average highest temperature is July 24th.

* The median temperature tops out at 78ºF, and that lasts from July 15th to August 4th, and the middle date in this range is July 25th..

Due to ADD, I can't really concentrate on a single project for more than a couple of days.. or else, yeah - a Job like that would be great for me.

My house is full of incomplete projects, half-read books, etc. It's horrible. Please feel sorry for me. :)

Pizza, your house sounds like a typical chemistry research lab (I have worked in a few). I think the best scientists/inventors have ADD.

I'm a Dead Dead. My reference was that no the Dead are not heavy metal. I thought Strat you were mentioning you did not see how the word Dead fit in.
As far as the family traveling thing. Thats what the guys I tour with call the rolling tailgate party.
Loafer89 I need another weather ski related big word please. Ya you looks like you can get the post ski tailgate vibe Loafer89. :D
So very very lost... but I suppose that's alright... onto other things...

dmc, This summer's not technically without any Dead-ness... phil lesh just did a few shows with ryan (bryan) adams out in colorado, my parents went to both... apparently this adams guy was way out of his league and the shows turned out kinda lame, but it was something...

Sorry. I considered going to Red Rocks. I went the last time Phil and friends played there as the Q.
Bobby is coming around in late summer early fall. DMC's point I believe is.. no long summer tour as many of us spent our summers doing for years. We have a few misc. threads on the dead. I'll go over there I have messed this thread up enough.

Gotta hand it to Phil for trying new stuff though..

If the "Dead" would've toured this summer - I would not have seen them...

Haha, I dunno, my dad says they're good but maybe not dead level... hard to say though, what with bobby forgetting the words and stuff... wish I had this info first hand, just from what my parents told me, from the jones beach shows in NY... oh, and the one at the Tweeter last july...

Bob, yeah, figured that out pretty much... yeah, according to my dad, the quintet days were the peak of the post-jerry experience...
