So....let's get started then, shall we? But first you need to come out for a day and see if you could even hang:

After all, it's only fair that if you're going to trash a place, you should ski it first, no?

have I trashed it? nope. it seems your missing the word COULD....as in, if I wanted to....which I dont. Like I said, I think its cool you guys like the place so much being that its small.....and I just really wanted to know if I'm the only one who skips them. It wasnt intended for you to take personally.....

Generally not. I have a few times. I often skip a lot of the reports for the areas I'm very unlikely to go to.

Nope don't normally read the Sundown reports, nothing against Sundown, nothing against the CLITS(great group). It's just that as much as I wouldn't mind going there the distance doesn't make sense for me to travel to Sundown. Don't ski it, don't read the reports. Simple as that.

Do I need to ski a mountain to read reports about it, no. But let's face facts, more chance I'm going to read a report about Whistler or Alta then Sundown. Not putting it down and happy the CLITS are enjoying it, just don't have as much interest reading about it as I do about the bigger place. Let's move on........ :)

good point. I have read some, BUT I figure since the only thing you ever hear is about "bumps" when it comes to sundown, I assumed thats what they all are. Am I wrong or are there vast reports on groomers, rollers, back country, on map & off map glades and other big time features I'm missing out on @ Sundown?

I don't report on bumps. Then again, I'm the only one on here skiing at Sundown who doesn't ski bumps, so I guess that makes me the gaper loser of the group (and therefore with less-than-worthy trip reports that are probably not likely to incite excitement nor interest in anyone).

So what does a hardcore big mountain skier like yourself do when you have 3-4 hours on a Saturday morning and can't make it up to VT, NH or ME to ski? Sit home on a ski forum? Hit up Yago(or whatever it is called)? While it seems Sundowns terrain is lame to a lot of the forum members here, I feel fortunate to have them close by.

don't read them all but what impresses most is sundown's management willingness to take skier feedback seriously.
