CONCORD, New Hampshire -- The New Hampshire Department of Resources and Economic Development announces the hiring of a new General Manager for Cannon Mountain Resort and Franconia Notch State Park. John DeVivo of Bethel, Maine will take over that role on Friday, July 13th. His responsibilities will include daily management of both Cannon Mountain Resort and Franconia Notch State Park.

The incredible natural beauty of the area, in addition to the historical significance of both the ski resort and the state park, make it a fantastic place to live, work and play, and I'm happy to be involved. I look forward to interacting with our well-established teams in Concord and Franconia, and to being directly involved in preserving our heritage as both the ski resort and state park continue to evolve and offer unforgettable experiences to New Hampshire visitors."
