was at killington all day sat. it was tough to tell how much they had b/c it was so bumped up. lots of ice on some trail in between the powder moguls. found some mid-shin in the trees (although all glades i saw were officially closed). there were lots of rocks in the trees, but it was worth it if you ask me. they got around 6" fresh on sat judging by what accumulated on cars in the lot. lots of fun, just had to find the trails that weren't too chopped up and icy.

trees were the only place to be on Saturday. You have to know where the unmarked goods are.

yeah, i know. unfortunately i was w/ my snowboarding roommate and he hates anything but the groomers. he got so fed up w/ how bumped up it was by 2 that he just left and waited in the car. that's when i got in some good tree runs. all in all, a great day. just wish i knew my way around up there a little better.

I hear ya.

I wouldn't know where anything else is anywhere else. It's just that K is my home mountain.

When I'm at another area, I sometimes just punch into some woods (if there's enough base) and check it out. Prolly similar to what people unfamiliar with K do here.

It's all good. Nothing but smiles on a pow day!
