Sick? Perhaps. Crazy? I do know a number of people who'd be inclined to agree.awf170 said:You are sick. Do you ski a ton of powder days in northern vermont, ski a lot of backcountry, or just always know where to find powder. If not I just think thats crazy.
Ton of powder days? - No, I dont live near Mansfield or Jay. I tend to ski the most at NH/ME ASC resorts, due to the pass, and the proximity to my family's NH house. So , Sunday River most of the time, with Burke, Jay, and 'loaf trips sprinkled around, Wildcat on blackout days, and Attitash if lazyness or a hangover sets in.

I always plan on trying superspeeds and the new AC4's, but never bother at Demo days.
I'm not saying that 105mm waisted fat boards are right for everyone, but aside from the extra weight of the ski these things ski 'like butter'.

Taking some of the harder corners on Lynx with some speed I thought I was going to pull a Bode because my skis were chattering so much.
Well, pocket rockets are a soft ski. Personally, I've grown a heady intolerance for foam/hybrid core skis, they just seem too chhatty, and to wear out too quickly with my weight and abuse.
After about 20 days, my Bandit X's started to ski like wet noodles.
- Of course, a friend of mine has been skiing Bandit B1's for two seasons now, and still loves em. He does weigh at least 50lbs less than I do, if not more, YMMV.
