I missed about 5 years while living in Florida
I had been living in Tahoe for the previous 3 years and had probably 10 years of 30+ days (the rest in NE) and I just wanted to make a big life change for various reasons.
Coming back to NE was great, it took a few days out before my legs were ready for sustained vert and had to relearn alot of things.

I started skiing in February of 1982 and my parents forced me to go to summer ski camp in July of 1985 in Europe at the tender age of 14.

I was skiing on the day that our son was born.

Our son's name is Warren, wonder how that happened??;-) and he is more skiing obsessed than I am, so we won't stop now.

The only thing that has gotten in the way of skiing is summer.

Awesome story. 8) I got my wife into skiing. It's such a cool feeling to introduce someone to the sport, and have them become really really enthusiastic about it. My wife was all excited because it was cold out last night. I was thrilled. :-D
