Rode on some 158's (Faction Heroin 2012 ski) with tele bindings 3x and have an opportunity to purchase used for a pretty good deal. I really liked them, they were 158's (I believe..somewhere right around there) and my current Atomic's are 169's. Wondering if because I'm learning on tele's I could deal with the shorter ski. I'm a little weary of getting the shorter ski but like I said I'm still a total beginner so it may be beneficial than just buying new NTN Bindings and putting them on my Atomics.

Anyone ride on this brand of ski before? Should I take the good deal in lieu of shorter skis?

How much? Go to Wliderness Sports in eithr Dillon or Frisco. They have some killer deals on SkiLogiks. Look at these before you buy anything else. The bases are bomb proof.(Sintered Carbon)

3-350ish...in that range. I'll check out Wilderness Sports...see if I can find another deal

Are the new skis wider than your current skis? If so, don't fear going shorter if you liked them. Shorter, fatter, with some early rise is the way to go.

The Factions are 92 and my Atomics are 95, not to big of a difference..,

Ok...big bummer. Now he is keeping those skis for his girlfriend but will sell me the this years NTN bindings off of them for $50 bucks and give me a good deal on 2013 Scarpa boots and mount the new bindings on my Atomics. Dang, I was really liking the thought of having those skis.

$50 sounds good...but then I'm not a tele/NTN user. Think I might resist the boot purchase...never really know how many times liners have been cooked... Check online for deals on that specific ski.....skis are being dumped all over the place.
