I second that!I'll take the whiteout...keeps the crowds down, free refills and plenty of visability avail in the trees and right on the sides of the trail. Nothing beats the sound of the snow falling in between the squeak, squeak, squeak of the one or two noisy lift towers on the way back up for another round of refills. Walking into the lodge covered in snow at 4:30pm with thighs that feel like jello is one of the best feelings I know. Keep it coming!
Stealing the idea from the Poll on Favorite conditions, what is your favorite weather to ski in.
I think mine would have to be skiing in a heavy snowfall. Not white out, but maybe 1-3" per hour. A lot of people don't like to ski while snowing, but I like the new snow refreshing the surface every couple hours or so. I also like the silence you get when your in the middle of the woods and you can't hear anything but your own breath because the snow is damping the sound from everything else.
