Hey All,

I'm back from a fun morning session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at 735AM and it was 25 degrees under sunny skys. Atomic Jeff and Toast were in the house and we were on the first 6-pack of the day. We first skied Razors edge which had a layer of fresh blown Poe. A-Jeff said he got some float..then they closed off Razors edge for the race team so we hit Lazy Mile which also had fresh blown snow. Switchback had really nice snow as well as well as Dreamweaver..hats off to the snowmakers for a nice recovery from the recent warmspell. We then skied several laps on Challenge which was pretty nice..a little sweet and low. I skied the Sidewinder park once which had nice snow and Toast got booted up off the first two booters..despite the wind he got mad steezy air. Then Toast joined Ty for some more park runs and A-Jeff and I decided to take a run down Paradise.

At the top, A-Jeff chatted with a patroller for awhile and I skied down to the first corner and helped out a patroller by yelling at random people to slow down. Then me and A-Jeff skied uber-slow to the next corner and Jeff told the patroller that he'd never catch him. The patroller said he was the fastest guy on the mountain and decided to ski with us since he had spent an hour doing speed control on Paradise. The patroller was named Greg and he's from Austrailia and his kids are friends with Matt Stunt. We got to cut the 6-pack line by tagging along with Greg and we then skied a Dreamweaver run and since we had protection..we were able to ski fast where it joins back up with Paradise..we then cut the 6-pack line again and skied Switchback with Greg. Greg said he has only written 3 tickets in 14 years..much different from the guy who nabbed us yesterday who wrote 3 tickets in 4 minutes. A-Jeff and I always meet new people to ski with and it's nice to know that not all the patrollers have a broomstick shoved up their butt.

By this time, the race team was off Razors and we skied a final run down it and the conditions were still really nice..liftlines were getting long and after 16 runs for 16,800 vert by 10:50AM, I had my fill. We went to the Blue mountain drive inn...on the drive home..there was quite the lineup of cars with NJ plates..it looks like this afternoon is gonna be really crowded but this morning was way less crowded than a typical holiday weekend. All in all today finished up a nice weekend of skiing at Blue mountain...Mad Phil Collins..Just Another Day in Paradise!!! :D

I was half tempted to coming up to Blue today myself. :spin:

Half, but I slept to 10:30, which is very unlike me.
