snow-forecast.com is predicting 11 inches of r**n Sunday morning mid mountain at Mt Snow, I have found they tend to exaggerate their long term forecasts but hopefully this is some sort of typo :)

Vermont Resort Gets Almost A Foot of Fresh Powder in One Day. Sugarbush Resort in Vermont keeps laying the good news--and the snow--on thick as almost a foot of fresh pow piled in over the last day. Officials at the mountain posted a mouth-watering Instagram post yesterday of covered trees and people riding little features off to the sides of the trails with the caption, "11 inches of base building in the past 24 hours."

Here’s What’s New For Winter 2023/24 at Vermont Ski Areas. Located in a state synonymous with snow, Vermont ski areas take the title of top ski destination in the East seriously—and are always looking for new ways to provide flake-filled fun for visitors. That means updates to lodging, lifts, and further expansion of snowmaking and new activities.

From gusty winds to dangerous thunderstorms and even "SNOW" as a massive storm will affect 180 million people in the eastern half of the United States this weekend. As the next storm system is coming Sunday into Monday (12/10-12/11) with more Warm "R" Moisture then we would like. A lot of the Northeast is looking to see "R" numbers into the multiple Inches :( before a late night change over thankfully to wet snow then to dense heavy snow. The middle of VT and the more North you go is looking at the possibility to pick up more then 6" of snow at mountain elevation and repair some of the Snow loss from the "R". Killington, Stowe, Sugarbush, Jay Peak and the most Northern Mountains might see even greater Snow total numbers into the Double digits : )

Lower Vermont and the rest that don't get Snow get your Rubber boots on the "R" will be intense.

Reports are now..8 to 12 plus for stowe..up to 20 for jay...
It looks like this could be the "don't look back" storm of the season. Also, a great way to do a load test on all ski infrastructure.

If the storm stalls or wobbles, Killington will get the reach around event they live for.🤞

And places that truthfully report snowfall.
Jay is near-100% open this weekend. If they truly were lying about their snow totals, that wouldn't be the case while Stowe is half open and Bolton is 2/3 (and they're very laissez-faire with openings).

To be clear, I don't doubt that they're picking favorable locations to report snow from. But they've had an incredible early season.
