Most of the 1/3 of Bolton is at timberline which they haven’t started the lift running yetJay is near-100% open this weekend. If they truly were lying about their snow totals, that wouldn't be the case while Stowe is half open and Bolton is 2/3 (and they're very laissez-faire with openings).
To be clear, I don't doubt that they're picking favorable locations to report snow from. But they've had an incredible early season.
Yes, Maine didn't get any snow but we also didn't get the torrential rains initially forecasted. I was shocked to wake up with complete snow coverage at my house in Bethel this morning. So I'll take it for now, better than a complete eraser.looks like maine and sovt both got the shaft on this one. novt did ok. no one did as good as hoped.
