LOL  That is great!!!! I recall last season, when it was like -30F, Jay was offering free hot chocolate and coffee for those that braved the elements and bought a lift ticket. That was brutal then...they might have been opening themselves up to unneccessary injuries and frost bite, etc.

But it should not be as cold this weekend.

I thought paying $2.25 for a cup of coffee at K-1 was steep, but the price of a lift ticket for a bottomless cup seems rather ridiculous. It's like playing golf when it is over 90 degrees. Sorry, I'll pass.

I just finished an hour and a half on my little x-c sprint track out my back door. It was cold here on Cape Cod. I used blue wax which served me well, so it could definitely have been colder. I don't like it much colder than this for downhill. At least with x-c you don't have to sit on some elevated chair slowly twisting in the wind and watching your nose fall off. It's often very fast once you get down to a green wax and all that cardio-vascular energy keeps you nice and warm. Nevertheless today I didn't even break a sweat while yesterday I was over-dressed.
