Last night Breckenridge held the Friends of CAIC (Colorado Avalanche Information Center) Benefit Bash! AlpineZone was happy to go and represent.
The CAIC put on a great silent auction with all the latest avalanche safety gear and backcountry merchandise. They also held one of the best raffles of the year, dozens of pairs of skis given away along with all kind of other goodies.
Last year the event raised about $85k for the CAIC and I would bet that this year they graced the $100k mark. Just a great event with all the proceeds going to a great cause. More info here at the link http://www.friendsofcaic.org
