Name a skier on the forum that you find fun to watch in action (and not in some creepy stalker way, Marc.) This isn't "top skier" or "best skier", it's just about those peeps that have a way of hitting the trails that make you say hot damn, that's pretty darn spiffy. You’re enamored by the way they rip it, thrash it, bash it or bump it- whatever. The dude or dudette in question is just plain fun to watch.

I’ll start with Madskier6. Guy is just so fluid and the way he hits those bumps almost sideways- it’s impressive. Never actually skied with the dude but watching videos with him in them are always enlightening.

powbmps and 180

never skied with either of them, but have seen the videos. They'd probably also be top candidates of 'best' skiers as well I'd imagine.

I think of JimG. as a skier with surgeon-like precision. Not overly aggressive or fast, but always a pleasure to watch. Control is his game.

Cool thread idea.

telemark skiers. It looks so damn hard.

I enjoyed watching DMC ride. Good snowboarders are always cool to watch.

I'd agree with Madskier and JimG. It always warms my heart to see our senior citizens out enjoying themselves. (jim, you out there HELLOOOOOO)

anyone with that racing type form too. Wa-loaf had it i remember.

One other thing is watching people get better. Alot of the Ct/sundown crew has improved immensely both in bump skiing and overall. Bvibert wouldnt have dreamed of skiing redline a couple years ago but last year he hit redline, upper lucifer and Master Magician. thats was awesome to watch.

Phillycore...he is almost 300 pounds so the extra mass along with twin tips means the spray off his tails is epic..and he takes some spectacular wipeouts..

Any of the accomplished bumpers; 2knees, powbumps and 180. I now how hard bumps are so when someone makes it look easy and smooth it's very impressive.

2knees, Powhunter, and JohhnyPoach. Someone skiing as hard as they can all the time is always awesome, especially when they wreck a lot. Personally I hate watching conservative skiers like JimG, something about it just annoys me so much. Also DMC, he is probably the quickest turning snowboarder I have ever seen.

Jim G is fun to watch for his surgeon like preciseness and control.

On the other side awf170 is fun to watch for his total lack of control and occasional rag doll type falls.

Marge is fun to watch because she looks like a storm trooper. It's fun to see the little kids run away from her scared. :spin:

Watching johnnypoach explode bumps is definitely entertaining. Funny that the guy has not made one post here. Sort of an AZer by proxy.

as far as people i have skied with, 2knees, greg, and jimg. 2knees and greg have different styles but i have learned watching both. jimg is so calm and fluid. he makes it look easy.

as for people i have seen video of, 180.

I only get to share the mountain consistantly with 2 guys on here, DMC and JimG ... both have different styles and are leagues ahead of me as far as skills go, but damned fine folks to hang with as we all appreciate the fact that we're fortunate to be out there ... the chair rides aren't too shabby either as we share - - - - - - riding tips

Thanks for the compliment. It's too bad we didn't get to ski together at all last season. Perhaps this season.

Hey 2knees, who you calling old? You're not that much younger than me.

As for me, I like watching 2knees do the zipperline. His form is so smooth and the way he skis looks so effortless. Highpeaksdrifter also is fun to watch with his smooth, controlled technique. The man has definitely got some skills.

I also enjoyed watching powhunter and johhnypoach at the Sundown bump contest last year. Those guys can rip & when they hit it hard, it makes me laugh because they are so into it!
