No matter how many times I’ve been to the summit of Whiteface, sometimes I still just stand for a while and take in the view and am in awe of the beauty of it and how high I am above the base below.

What do you still gape at?

Too many things to list. The day I run out of things to gape at is the day I check out. Our new addition to the family will give me something to gape at for the rest of my life.....

And I hear the view of Sugarbush when you come around the bend is amazing. Looking forward to seeing it for the first time in person this season.

I gape at people while on the chair. I really like to watch all the different kinds of turns that tkae place on a ski hill. As long as people are having fun, those are the ones I like to watch.

Yeah, Lincoln Peak looks pretty cool once you get near the Paradise Deli; the Mall and Stein's looks particularly forboding. Mount Ellen looks great from Route 17 but overall, I don't think of Sugarbush as being one of the "wow" ski areas as you approach it. Sugarloaf/USA from "Oh My God" turn on Route 27 on the other hand...

You will never forget that one.

I still get an incredible level of anxiety and anticipation on my way to the mountain; regardless of whether I'm hitting MRG on a powder day or just heading over to the local haunt for some night skiing. That's a tad gaperish.

And even if you could forget, Greg would keep reminding you by posting those pictures in threads at least two times per month.

;) :spin:

That's it. I'm hitting the ban button...
