The reality has set in that I won't be making first turns until late December at best. I need something to watch to keep me from going crazy. Any suggestions?

yea, netflix is a really good idea. they have about a dozen or so from warren miller, tgr, and matchstick. check those out, for the price of membership you can't go wrong. buy epoch and schooled from meathead productions for east coast action, can't go wrong with these two DVDs.

Last year's offering from Matchstick Productions: Yearbook. The skiing and music are great IMO.

i agree, i actually just got done watching it last night and this afternoon. the "matrix" style shot of Abma, Tanner Hall and C.R. are pretty cool. my favorite piece is with Tanner Rainville and Mike Wilson. another movie i like is Ready Fire Aim. my cuz got me hooked on that, some great skiing segments. the only one i'd stay away from is WSKI106. a couple of good segments but they added some "B-Movie" type of footage in with the skiing shots. kinda dumb if you ask me.

ps. on oct 21st their will be a screening at Red Hook Brewery of "The Hit List" (the new MSP flick)

I have the DVD box set of the early Greg Stump movies. Blizzard of Aahhh's, License to Thrill, Groove Requiem: In The Key Of Ski, and P-Tex, Lies, and Duct Tape.

I also have Better Off Dead. Not exactly a ski movie but it has ski scenes and some classic lines. I've been meaning to buy Hot Dog... The Movie. Too bad they didn't release the DVD in letterbox format.
