Ski Area: Gore Mountain, NY
Conditions: Classic spring conditions! Firm in the morning with a gradual transition to some sweet corn snow in the afternoon.
Trip Report: Spent the last few days up at Gore for the USSA J3 Junior Olympics and what great days they were as I never saw a cloud in the sky over the course of the three days. Anyway, even though I'd skied Gore a bunch during my college days way back when, and always considered it a great mountain, the new "improved" Gore with all the recent lift and terrain expansions is truly an amazing place to ski!!!
