With the many, many glades\backcountry skiers and boarders on this forum I was wondering who uses body armor. I'm not talking about the same stuff you use when downhill mountain biking (or maybe), but wrist pads, knee pads, helmets, elbow pads, and yes ass pads.

Personally, myself. I have a helmet necessary since that damn branch at Stowe decided to backside me without asking along with a pair of wrist pads that remain in my backpack since I purchased them.

WHAT ABOUT YOU?

never thought about wearing armor, but I have though about getting a full-face helmet, there just so expensive though. Also dont think I really ski glades fast enough or do stuff crazy enough yet...

never thought about armor for skiing. slalom races usually have padding and gate blockers for the shins and knuckles. never thought of needing it in the woods. i think if you hit a tree hard enough that you think armor might have helped, you might have bigger problems! the impact is going to be pretty nasty regardless of whether you have armor or not i would think. but i'd be curious to hear what someone with practical experience has to say.

A helmet is all the armor I want...

However on another note, I'm considering CW-X Conditioning Wear Top & Tights...

Anybody use those products?
