This season is not over, but I'll answer anyways :)

What type of terrain are you looking for? What type of nonskier activities? Other winter activities? Shopping?

Ski Santa Fe is a really good option for a mix if skiers & non-skiers. It's the capital of New Mexico and a major summer destination. Really good food. Stuffed with art galleries and other artsey stuff. Indian stuff. New age hippie culture stuff. A good airport in Alburquerque an hour away served by Southwest so airfare is cheap. Rental cars are reasonable compared to Denver or Salt Lake City. It's a nice little ski area around 20 minutes out of town. If it snows, you want 4wd to drive up that hill. Taos is not all that far away and is a much bigger ski option. You could combine those two and keep non-skiers occupied.

Aspen is the best resort town in North America. No problem keeping non-skiers occupied there. Between Ajax, Highlands, and Snowmass, there's plenty to keep anybody occupied for a season.

If the non-skiers are into casinos, Heavenly is an option. Reno is another good access airport and it's serviced by Southwest.

Quebec City works really well. Le Massif and Mount St Anne have good skiing. March is better odds for not freezing your butt off.

You can also consider Europe. There are endless good destinations there that will offer great skiing and plenty of diversions for a non-skier.

All terrain and I would guess shopping, pool, movies....Yagoo??

I'd have to agree with North Conway. If you have no real tight budget, I'd suggest Manchester, VT area followed by Killington, Stowe. Sugarbush is more of a skier's destination...less commercial stuff, more skiing terrain.

You said "all terrain," but if you are OK with easier mountains that are generally groomed, and not as much tree skiing, Bromley or Stratton, in the Manchester, VT area, would probably be good. There are plenty of outlets there for those who will shop rather than ski, and I'd assume there is a movie theater and pool somewhere nearby. Killington and Stowe would be other options, and both would also have more challenging terrain. I'd also consider Whiteface/Lake Placid.

I have to agree with Lake Placid. Manchester if you don't mind being a little further from the lifts. But LP is great for everyone and a 10 minute shuttle ride takes you right to 3100 + vert. :spread:
