The following is a list of people I hate:

Self righteous helmet wearers
Racers on Bump trails, skiing in racer style
Park kids who ski with their hands at their waists for no apparent reason
Families on trails over at least one member's (not always the kids) ability
People with cowbells on the side of racecourses (overzealous race parents in general)
Ski Patrol (especially the ones with the cop mentality)
Ski Instructors (even though I am one)
People who are too friendly
People who are not friendly at all
Narcs
Line Poachers
A-holes
Texans

Or to quote the Bloodhound Gang: "I hate you, but you hate yourself too, and I hate to be honest, but I'd hate to be you".

:-D - If I put a smiley face after it, that means this was all a joke ;-)

I can agree with you on everything but the Patrollers... Mainly because I'm friends with 90% of Hunter Mts patrol... I chose not to join - I don't like to work on weekends.. Sucks because all those MFr's jump the line... Or are out for 1st trx on a pow day. I get some perks though... :)

But I do hate the cop mentality to be sure.. It embarrasses me when see someone I consider to be friend act like a total asswipe... But it's also cool when I see someone do something cool too...

I'm with you on a lot of it...the park kids are holding their pants up. The tough one is the families on a trail that's over one of their heads...families or individuals, really doesn't make a diff to me, but if skiers and riders never got in over their heads, they'd never have the chance to progress...at some point everyone one of us has been in over our head...for some it may be on a blue trail, for others its a bump run, chute, or the woods. Its all part of the progression.

And i don't give a rats ass if you don't want to wear a helmet..a seatbelt, safety goggles, ear protection, get the flu vaccine, or just want to run around with scissors. live life, taste death

I thought that was a good one too, 2knees has a dry sense of humor.

I’d have to say preferential treatment. When one person or group does something wrong and has to pay consequences while another gets off scot-free because of who they are or who they know.

I guess it’s pretty much in all aspects of society, but it sucks when it happens to you or people you are friends with.

Depends on what level you put "over their heads" at. At some point, you're not even skiing anymore. Someone who isn't comfortable on a blue doesn't gain anything by sideslipping their way down a double black.

I agree people need to push their limits to progress, but getting in over your head doesn't accomplish anything.
