"Higher Ground," the new Warren Miller Film

But what about Squirrel Man??? Actually, aside from him, I didn't really enjoy that much of the Warren Miller film last year either. Corporate has found the brand that makes a WM film a film and they're going to stick to the same old formula. At least Warren (when he was head chief) was able to innovate and experiment. Now, it's "Throw in some Plake here," "Show a Jeep here" and "Don't forget the granola bars there."

I just checked out Higher Ground in Albany. I didn't think it was that bad. A couple good AK segments. Could have used some more Tele, but Max and Ben (plus one or two others) were great to watch for what little time they were up there. I do believe Warren's short voice clips were taken from other movies though. Squirrel Man broke up the skiing action, but from reading the rest of this thread, sounds like he's a popular guy.

Overall, good night especially when you factor in the freebies. As for purchasing, I'm going for Born from Ice.
