Hiker Experiences a Long Download at Loon

I was haunting another forum and there was mention of this incident at Loon which I thought might interest some of you. :blink:

I've experienced some long downloads while hiking, but it wasn't at Loon, and I buried them well.

That said, I entertain myself on lifts etc with "What if?" scenarios. I've got MacGuyver plans for every situation. If only I could remember to always carry a stick of chewing gum, two "D" batteries, adn a nickel...

I have a cell phone to cover freak things. Signal does not work everywhere, but might have helped here.
