earliest day: october 14th @loveland in colorado
my latest day was back in 1997 when I skied at killington on June 17th, that year they stayed open till the 22nd or something and it was the latest they ever stayed open. It was a foggy day and their were two huge bare patches you had to cross and I remember pushing across them with my rock skis on. I also had a day in late may at K back in 93' or 94' when it was in the upper 80s! my bro got dehydrated really bad, it was really weird and not that much fun skiing when it was that hot.

As early and as late as possible...still dreaming of that illustrious 100 day season.

Earliest day: Oct 30th 2005 at Wildcat
Latest day: May 23rd 2004 at A-Basin, CO
April 11'th in NE

15 Days this season, and hoping for at least 10 more (have to ski my age each year :D )

Worst/Most Challenging/Rainiest/Rewarding day:
Skiing Jan 14th at MRG during a NATO clinic. 3 Runs open, pouring rain, ribbons of ice through exposed granite slabs while learning to tele in hopes of beginning and ending the season earlier via earning em'!

Start the season when Hunter has something worth sliding down, late Nov. early Dec. this year, sometimes late Nov. Ended last year April 20 at Snowbird with a 3 foot dump over night! Face shots in April. Hope to do it again this year.

My longest season was from October 1st 1993 to June 1st 1994 at Killington. I have skied every month of the year and did lots of summer skiing in Europe and on Mount Hood.

Coldest Day: -37F at Sugarloaf, December 1989
Warmest Day: 99F at Timberline Lodge, September 2nd 1988.
Most ski areas visited in one day: February 17th 1994: Sugarbush, Middlebury Snow Bowl and Ski Bradford.
Most ski days in one year: 1999-2000, 34 days.

Now with my son, we like to ski from Thanksgving until early May.

Last night made day 50 for me. I am well on my way to my goal of 70, and should pass it!

Tonight will be 22 for me. I should count it as 2. Come on, I'll have 14 hours of skiing at once and I will be technically be skiing 2 days. Oh well, I'll just count it as one.

Tonight will be 28 for me... I've got a long way to go to reach my goal of 50. If we get any warm ups towards the end of March, consider me a failure.
