How many days do you expect to ski in November 2008?

Friday, Saturday, Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend. I had a great time with that weekend at Sunday River last year, so we're doing it again.

Any more than that will be bonus time, hopefully a day or two.

My guess is probably 5-6 days...one weekend in Vermont in mid November and 2-3 days over Thanksgiving weekend and maybe a random day at Big Boulder PA or the Catskills if they can get open in November..

I've skied in November the past 6 seasons..

I've skied but a handfull of days in November in all my years of skiing. Besides the most obvious, the weather variable, I have a kid's birthday, my anniversary and Thanksgiving that fills in my calender that month. Any days are strictly bonus days.

One thing about November turns is that yes it's great to be back on the snow..but I'm much more gung ho about a long drive up north in March/April than in November. It's tough to ski the way I like to ski with a white ribbon of death..but maybe it will be uber cold this November and we'll get dumped on. Three seasons ago..I remember about 30 open trails open at Okemo Thanksgiving weekend.
