Last season was a total disaster for me,unemployed spouse.1 day MRG, 1 day Cannon, 1 day Tucks. With hope (and a 2nd paycheck)this year should return me 15-20 days on snow, both resort and BC. My new love of snowshoeing and winter 4k's is at odds with sking. Best of both worlds in a day ski Cannon or Loon 1/2day then bust out the 'shoes
and hike a mountain. Stay tuned.........................................

I feel your pain, my wife was basically unemployed for the most part last season and we have two small kids to feed. My saving grace was working at our local mountain for some extra dough and a pass. I still managed somewhere in the 30 day range I'd guess. This year is looking similar, except this time my wife will also be going to school. A few more years until her school is finished and the kids start going to school, then things will get easier. 8)

I hear ya,house, kids , cars all put a huge strain on our abilities to enjoy our selfish little hobbies. Although still unemployed the wife is on the verge of a career change that will permaneantly return the Sasquatch to his home in the mountains for a long time to come!

I said between 20 and 30 days. Unfortunately, many of those days will be 1/2 days at best....either a morning's stop @ Wa before work...or the 10 or so evening race events (ski from about 6 to maybe 9...starving by then and definitely looking for the nightly results).

I truely hope to get three or four mid-week day trips. Maybe a few weekend mornings @ Wa (first (or close to it) chair events before it gets too crowded).

Looking to get back to Stratton mid-week. Sunapee mid-week. Wildcat weekend. Cannon midweek with an old ski pal.

It sure would be great to hit an AZ event one of these years. Work has kept me out-straight for three years or so. I need the mental break! Also looking to finally make it into and Andyzee film....eveer since I saw his Cannon flick (which I was "supposed to" be there for).

Between my full season pass to JHole and Snow King, laps on the pass, and early and late lift served at Targhee I should be out there between 110-120 times this year without breaking a sweat. Knowing the backcountry round these parts is really going to help get me out there earning turns more often. Last season I had 105 days, shouldnt be to hard to add 5-15 more days in there somehow.

I'm opting to collect unemployment for the winter and live at Killington. I'm going to shoot for breaking 100 days this year unless some freakin' job ends up dropping in my lap.

I'm trying to decide how to count an August South America trip. I either bump last year up to 66 days or I've already logged 7 days for 2008-2009.

Goal is 20. That's what I did last season, and while I would've loved to ski a lot more (always do), based on my work schedule and location, I thought I did a good job. I said 11-20, because I think it's more likely I am under my goal than over, but I'd love to crack the 21-30 bracket.

would love to crack 30 for the first time in 5 years but just matching last years 23 would be sufficient. New job responsibility (and new boss) may get in the way of some of my weekday skiing though. we'll see. If i'm limited to weekends, i'll be luck to hit 15.

Anyway i cut it, my daughters are gonna be enrolled in Southingtons kids program which is just one step closer to getting me out anytime i want. 2 or 3 more years and i should be rolling again. lol, assuming i'm not in a wheelchair by then.

I'll probably end up around 75. Still hoping for 100+ but that's gonna depend on if I'm still at the same job or get a new one.
