hmmm lets see. the creek aint a challenge but it keeps me agile and skilled so when i spend 30 plus days in vt i can ride shit most people with never think about riding or if they did will most likely get serriously injured. with 1000' vert with in 40 min from one house and 15 from my other. it would be just plain stupid drive any further in to pennsylvania. i take my time on snow seriously so i spend as much time on as possible.
It's the same with Blue mountain for me...I feel like Blue is a treadmill for when I go on ski vacations which are like a marathon. Plus if I wasn't night skiing everyday afterwork..I don't know what I would do..If it wasn't for local skiing at Blue..I'd also probably ski less than 40 days a year..
ya i hate the feeling you have the first day after not riing for a while the shit just doesn't flow the way it should. there is no way someone from this area that only ski's in vt or out west/BC will be able to be as proficient as i like to be while riding. sure they bmght be able to get down some of the stuff i ride but they sure as hell are not going to do it as easily as i do. when i see people struggling with certain terrain i think to myself that how hell can they enjoy that. there is no enjoyment in just getting down something. its when you are able to flow down it that the sport becomes really fun.
I'd give my left nut to ski Blue mountain in fog or rain tomorrow..

You need something to do in summer... surfing, biking, climbing or anything but obsessing over skiing year round, seriously.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to make a big deal or sound mean. I was just trying to suggest something, but I didn't use the correct word choice.
