Take this simple test (bring your sense of humor):

Score one for each "yes" answer:

Have you ever called in sick to go skiing/riding?

Have you ever borrowed money to go skiing/riding?

Have you ever skipped school to go skiing/riding?

Have you ever stood up a date to go skiing/riding?

Have you ever gone home early from a night of drinking with the boys/girls because you were going skiing the next day?

Score five for each "Yes" answer:

Have you ever skipped a job interview to go skiing/riding?

Have you ever pawned an item to pay for a lift ticket on a powder day?

Have you ever taken a semester off to go skiing/riding?

Have you ever had second thoughts about a relationship because he/she didn't ski/ride?

Have you ever skipped a night out with the boys/girls because you were going skiing the next day?

Score ten points for each "yes" answer:

Have you ever taken a job based solely on it's proximity to skiing/riding?

Have you ever borrowed money from someone named "Nunzio" to go skiing/riding?

Have you ever blown off a final exam to go skiing/riding?

Have you ever dumped an SI because he/she didn't ski?

Have you ever left a bachelor /bachelorette party early because you were going skiing the next day?

Score 20 points for each "yes" answer:

Have you ever turned down a promotion because it didn't relocate you closer to ski country?

Have you ever pawned a priceless family heirloom to pay for a lift ticket on a powder day?

Have you ever decided grad school wasn't for you because it would interfere with skiing/riding?

Have you ever been divorced because your spouse didn't ski/ride?

Have you ever left your own bachelor/bachelorette party because you were skiing/riding the next day?

Have you ever sold your body to pay for gas to get to ski country?

Add the score, divide by two:

0-10: TFB/Stick with golf

10-20: Gaper

20-40: There might be hope

40-60: "Dude! I hear ASC will give you another $0,25 an hour because English is your first language"

60-100: A true ski bum. A dying breed.

I scored 69

I think it is acceptable to say that I turned down a promotion after I graduated college, by leaving a few higher paying job opportunities and moving to the canadian boarder deciding to ski whenever and not use my degree. I also usually have had a season pass, so buying tix doesn't really apply to me.

I am an f'n skier, word born.

27.5 ow. To concerned about keeping a good job to skip work or blow off school. I always got a job at the mountain to not have to pay to ski anyway.

Flawed should be one ot two more more question.A) did you marry your wife because she was a skier and thats how you met.:snow:
.B)Does she pay the bill for your passion of skiing.

A fun poll. I know I'm way to uptight. Just envious of those free spirits.

Does it count if I tried to sell my body for gas money but didn't have any customers?

I had one offer but I didn't accept. I'm pretty sure that dude was cousins with that guy from Dilverance.

Give yourself 100 if you don't take the quiz because you're too busy skiing/riding.

I scored a 33

How many extra points do I get for skiing while my wife was in labor?? and continued to ski after I found this out. I have the lift ticket to prove it.

That should be worth at least 20

Definately flawed! I lost a lot of points because I never even considered doing some of the things listed because I was too busy skiing! For example: Leaving a party, and divorcing a spouse. How the heck could I divorce a spouse, I have been too busy skiing to look for one seriously!

12.5... but I've only been skiing for 4 years.. I'm now out of school and have a boss that gives me powder days off...with the All For 1 pass I don't need lift tickets... although I do limit my other activities such as parties and outings during the winter months... don't want to compromise the quality of my skiing! :)

Scary I got the same score as Bob. I agree with adding Bob's questions to the poll.

I could do much better if i can count the points for question each time I did them. I can think of at least 5 girls in which i dated and ended the relationship just before ski season started because they didn't ski well enough to keep up. As well as the number of times I've called in sick to school and work.
