We have received over 2 feet of fresh champagne powder in the last 36 hours. Skiing has been awesome. You know the kind I speak of..................over the knees deep, blower snow trailing off your shoulders, darkness every other turn from being in the white room! Smiles on EVERYONE in the lift line............that kind of skiing.

the truth is that we don't get big 2ft dumps that often. We get maybe 1 or 2 storms that produce 24 plus inches. We get a ton of snow often, just more like 6-10 inches. This was a true treat for us. As of Sunday we had dirt on the bottom and were only able to upload, ski the top two lifts, then download. We got what we needed. They are slowly getting the mountain open. We just got top to bottom skiing today at 2pm (mostly due to avy control work).

Don't mean to gloat!

put me in Atlanta? that would suck. I lived in Nashville when I was away from here, it was brutal, but really Little Rock would be the worst.

Problem is whom ever comes out to get me will get styled and shown such a great time, that person will end up staying and posting about "huge dumps" out west.

Now it may not seem so cold to you NE folks, but it was -14 this morning, and to us westerners that is COLD.

So, are you saying that you eat a lot of fiber out west? :)

Then what was the point of posting it here? Where you just trying to cheer us up?

Well if he's gonna tease us, the least he can do is post some pics. ;-)
