Snowed till midnight and we picked a few more inches of very light snow. I was on first chair which was at 8:20am. They groomed everything except my choice path; Hellgate Corner (Mini Squaw), 42nd street, Kennedy far right. was good for 3 runs of untracked and lightly tracked. Then 2 runs on the right side of Upper Crossover which was untracked. West side opened and somehow I timed it right to be the first customer down Clairs. Over boot top powder bumps.

Pretty crowded and sunny today except for the old standby of D and Z lifts.

pictures later.

I was there today and it wasn't too crowded. It was getting very icy when I left at 3:45. Annapurna on west side was in good shape early and I was there in the a.m. They were blowing snow there and I expect there would be some good bumps there tomorrow since it was starting to get cut up.

Nice looking bumps on Claires on skiers right, but they may have been icy.

We were there today also. The bumps on the trail that cuts left from Claire's were very nice. The bumps on the right of Claire's were kind of hard and a bit icy. We skied Annapurna around 2 and there were some nice bumps forming on the lower third of the trail. Snow guns blazing there all day made for some interesting conditions a bit heavy and sticky here and there. On the front we skied Hell Gate, Cliff, Huega Express, Crossover, East Side Drive and Belt Pky.... all had good conditions.

We got there early and got a ton of runs in off the six pack before there was really any line at all. Z lift was pretty much ski right on all day...maybe wait 2 or 3 chairs at the most in the early afternoon.

You'll find bumps all over.
Broadway, manmade course, might be groomed tonight
42 bumps all the way, watch for rocks down low and slick patches
Anna - should be great with lots of snowmaking - pick of the day
Clairs - groomed flat except for Upper Taylors and right side of doughnut which has icy troughs
K27/ Crossover - powder on top, ice in the trough.

Have fun, I'm beat from 3 days of pounding.

You're the man. Thanks! Looking forward to getting humbled at Hunter tomorrow. It seems like I always do. :)
