As of April 11, 2006 - Although we are closed Monday through Thursday this week, we will be re-opening on Friday and Saturday. The forecast for Saturday looks great for Pondskimming. We will NOT be open Easter Sunday, April 16th. Come join us for the final days of the 2005-06 ski and snowboard season!"

From the Hunter Website:

"We are officially closed for the 2005-06 season after skiing and riding on Saturday, April 15th. It was a difficult winter, with unseasonably warm and dry weather through much of the season. Despite the lack of natural snow, we were able to make enough snow when the opportunity presented itself to get us through. Thanks to all who hung with us through a tough year."

Oh well, Hopefully I'll get up there for Mountain Jam or it will be another missed opportunity to meet you DMC.

Great day on Saturday! Some grass strips to cross but it was a "blue bird" day..

Sorry to see the hill close. Already saw a couple bears going down Hellgate yesterdat afternoon...
