Prerelease or didn’t release story thread.

My buddy is old school and turns his DIN setting why down in the off season. His first day out on the skis the next season he forgot to reset them and kept coming out of them after every few turns.

I finally took a look at them and saw that the DIN was on 2. Tuff getting old cause you get forgetful.

My experience with Nordica, and Marker bindings have been that the heel spring won't effectively engage if I have it backed all of the way out. So, I can't say I've ever had to experience the result of that particular brainfart. But, more importantly, why is it "Old School" to release the load on the springs in the off season? I've done it for as long as I've been paying for my own equipment on the recommendation of industry techs. Do you have some new info for us?

Cause with today's binding technology if you turn the DIN down in the off season you’ll get 25 years out of them instead of 20. :-D So no harm in doing it, but really not necessary.

Color me, and my boys all kinds of stupid!

But you know where I'm comin' for a full refund if I don't get a solid fifteen, flawless years out of those TF clamps ( I'll give you a five year slide on this one ). And don't forget, I've got all kinds of friends in Wilmington, so I'll know where to find you, even if I don't get an invite to the official housewarming party.
