here's just under 3 minutes of the "best" crashes from the 2009 World Cup season



As for the ski flexing/bending, if you've ever seen some of the replays of especially a world cup downhill when they show some of the run in super slo-mo, you'd not doubt that a ski can bend like that!

Even though I started this thread, I can't find any of this very entertaining. In all of these crashes I'll bet the skier had some serious leg/joint injuries even with their top level training and strength.
