Boots in the attic, skis hung up in the basement....

I am sooo behind in stuff around the house...

Did a spring cleaning on the garage...man did I chuck a lot of stuff....9:00am till 4:00pm...all day saturday...

Sunday was in the garden roto-tilling beds and preparing soil for azaleas....then off to coach a little league practice for 2 hours in the 78 degree sun...

Man I'm beat...

It's easier to ski everyday for a week...

I gotta buy a hot tub for the back deck...

Just wanted to say that this is a great site....with a great bunch of people....(well there was that one exception...)

Thanks for all the info...

For anyone still skiing or riding...please have a beer for my me at he lodge!

And if your at Jay...make it a Tram Ale

(Brought 2 six packs home with me...)

I was going to go, but I went to Loon one more day cause they were open and my family all had passes there. If Loon was not open I would have gone. They have a good deal at K this week kids pay their age. Brettski do the family thing. :D I am trying to get some kid related events next year maybe an outing. May 21st at Wachusett clean up and get a ticket. My kids will be there. See info in trips folder.

I wrapped up my season yesterday at Jiminy. Oh, how the house and loved ones have been neglected during the season, but I plan to make up for it.

If I didn't have my job and family I'd be ski bumming. Since the other realities of life keep rearing their ugly heads I only try to ski between mid November through mid April.

I can't wait until I retire in about 15 years and ski everyday. Then the younger crowd who seem to ski just about whenever they want will be with job and family wondering how they ever skied as much as they did.

'till next season. . .

I think I'm done, too- had to take the racks off the car for a trip to Home Depot. Yeah, I know they can be put back on, but the psychological trauma of taking the ski racks off and strapping down sheets of plywood is just too great.
The good news is I fired up the grill, and ate on the deck last night.

Yep, took the ski box off and put the bike rack up, that is my signal of what season it is. But yeah, I've had two real nice mountain bike rides this year and the grill on the deck is kicking nicely. Going out to the Grand Canyon of PA in a few weeks to canoe.

I grill all year - dead of winter too. I spent much of the weekend poking around the yard and garage - pulled up some of the deck furniture from the basement, winterized the snow thrower, changed the oil in the mower and power washer, raked the yard, washed a car, and reorganized the garage. Spring is here!

Want a part time job? I have some skiing to do. :D
I'm taking the Racks off for a week. I'll put them back on for the last weekend of April and 1st day of May. Just want to get a few more miles to the gallon on the gas hog. Stowe Deals sound pretty good for my kids April vacation week.

Yeah, I got the grill hooked into the gas line, it is so sweet, no worrying about the gas running out. This year I got the ceramic briquets, they make it even better. Charcoal is of course the best, but also the most work.

I use the grill all winter also. I like to use charcoal alot in the winter too. It gets me outside at night, takes a long time so cooking becomes an event. :D That was a good thread. Greg your food and pre work is similar to mine.

(Yawn) Flatten Woods. I'd much rather go to Stowe for their deal or Sunday River.
Just trying to cover NH Vermont And Maine plenty of cheap options.

Yeah--did you see what Stowe was doing for the rest of the season? Dropping rates by the day 'til it is free (donation) on May 1st!

I put a post in the News and articles section under that. Ya. I would love to go just a long way in the wrong direction. Still may go. Being a fair weather skiier makes it easy to be selective.
