I like to think the same thing hard, but sometimes you just get the best of yourself. Those early tree runs are either the best or the worst, nothing inbetween, and theres only one way to find out.

There are a few glades I would hit with 10 inches of solid base. They are spot's I've been in in the summer and are heavily trimmed and groomed. I am readu to shred some trees as well.

KMart now has a solid base in the woods. If the bits of snow happen over the next few days as predicted, I expect I'll be in the lower pitched stuff soon.

i know but in my years and injuries i have become wise. i blew my knee out on a sapling in the woods off of chin clip at stowe so there is a huge fear factor. i am pretty carefull about when schralp da woods. i could see doing nosedive woods or something like that but it would be have to be something that i know for a fact has been cleared good. im ok on waiting a bit so i can ride with confidence.
