In a Snow Funk this Week

While it seems like a dearth of snow this week, Stowe, Smuggs, Jay, Saddleback and Sugarloaf have had 12" or more of new pow since Sunday.

yeah - like I believe anything the resorts say, they are just trying to get people to ski

yup its bullshit the stake at mani is still at 52"

I have not been to the mountain yet... but there is 8-10in of snow to shovel at home 15min from the resort... so 10-12in up there seems pretty real now!

Seems legit...since I check out stowe.com everyday..that 50 inches at the stake means they're a couple good storms away from phenomanal tree skiing..at least it's staying cold to keep the snow dry

Problem is at resorts if they only get 1-2" at a time it doesn't seem like they got any, especially if it's fluff. I've seen days where 4" only barely qualifies as a refresh.
