was there from 830 - 12 noon today. Conifer was super scratchy/scraped off in the middle, but the edges were not bad. They were pushing piles on 10th mtn trail when we left. the runout of lower 10th was open.

We will be back again tomorrow from 8 - 11 or so. Gotta make that silver pass worth it!

I'll be the guy in the flat black Giro helmet with the dayglo nordica supercharger boots, blue old solstice jacket.

Missed ya again sneak, I was on the hill from 7:45-10...

Red Karbon shortie, light beige snowboard pants, bosox winter cap, tecnica explosion 8's and RX 8's....

I won't be back till they open more terrain or Tues Dec 4th...which ever comes first. I probably would have ski'd till 12 if we had hooked up...

I was out by 10....

I had a pair of those. Good boots but the shell cracked a couple years ago. I think they were recalled. Probably too late but you might want to look into it.

This is my fourth and final pair....they have about 20 days on em. I pro formed 2 a year the last couple years I taught skiing......

I have backup plan ready...the current tecnica magnesium 304 shell fits me fine.

I expect they will crack this year or next....I'll ski em till they do.

At retail prices....boots are painfully expensive.

I can't go tonight. But maybe some night this coming week? Not Monday, it's supposed to rain.

10th is open. Which is pretty impressive considering it didn't open until the end of January last year.

I'm hoping to make it up Thursday or Friday. Should give them enough time to recover from the rain.

10th is open? What time is the rain suppose to come? Do I have time to hit it tomorrow morning?

Supposed to start as snow and freezing rain after midnight tonight, then over to straight rain mid morning.

I doubt they'll even be open long tomorrow.

Yup, I think the rain is supposed to hit in the afternoon/evening so you should be good for the morning. But I'd check the forecast this evening to be sure.

The sun softened things up nicely by 1130 today on conifer...unfortunately, that's when we left. Got a good 10 laps on conifer in and one or two down 10th mtn. 10th was scratchy with death cookies early. Edges of ole CC were nice, however.

I gotta get a new jacket. I just realized that my current shell is on its 12th season and looks it. So ghetto!
Maybe some new poles too...they're only on their 13th season...

Going to mt sneaux on friday, won't be back to wa wa til sometime after next weekend.

Provided there's no washout. I'm going to go Thursday night. Anyone else want to give it a shot?

Maybe if Austin sees this he can shoot over for a few runs Thursday night as well.

I must say, early season weeknights at Wachusett are very fun... mountain to yourself pretty much. If they get a lot of terrain open by mid December it's really a blast. Too bad last year we didn't reaqlly get to experience it.

I made a more formal topic in T&E about this... let's set up a place and time there.
