I used to have patches all over my jacket (late 60s early 70s) That was THE thing to do back then.

We used to get our son pins for every area we skied.

We do the same thing and mount then in a display box. It keeps up some motivation to go out and try new places. Goal is to hit as many eastern resorts as possible before they go to college then they can choose were to go. We're about 60% done our list of 50 resorts which include the states of NJ, PA, NY, CT, Mass, VT, NH, and Maine

go for the pin

Centuries ago I decided that pins on a hat were far more extensible, portable and save-able. I picked up a Tyrolean hat in Lake Placid and never looked back. I have about 50 pins now. the photo shows the hat with about 35 pins. Oldest style I can find is best. The pin ONLY qualifies if I have skied the area. All the NASTAR pins have been relegated to a jar....

I only wear the hat to Ski Club meetings. I'm too afraid I'll lose it. That makes me a closet gaper....

I think there's a difference between you wearing that hat at club meetings and wearing it to a bar... To basically impress people without showing skillz...

So - I think it ok... like it matters... :)

I just shot chili out my nose!!

gross..and today when I was helping with deliveries I saw an old lady with a badonkadonk butt rocking a neon yellow fanny pack. I would have given her a crispy 10 dollar bill for it..I also wanted to ask her if I could get some fries..I mean tator tots with that shake..:smash:
