Clearing skies, calming winds, does anyone make a patch of snow tonight or tomorrow night?

Would be nice to see, but many have pointed out that the mice may have been blown out with water already.

Well, we can always hope. It would be great to see a patch of white against the colors of the mountain!

He's baaaaaaaaack! ;)

I guess it's possible. Killington did not blow a patch last season. However, I suspect the might try to do a photo opp this weekend if they can. It might be a great way to make one last push of the A41s before the October 10 deadline.

I think you're a year behind. Where was it stated that Killington charged and tested the system already? Last year, they did charge and test it by blowing "rain".

Well, we can always hope. It would be great to see a patch of white against the colors of the mountain!
I'm not basing my comments on anything more than pure speculation, but again if it was me I would use the opportunity as a final marketing push for the A41. I know nothing gets me more pumped for the season than to see the results of blowing out the mice! Might sell some passes...

Word I'm hearing is that snowmaking will only commence once conditions permit base-building. Probably a couple of weeks out. I want to be surprised as much as anyone though...

Soon to be white:snow: :snow:

You can kinda see that Hunter has pre-groomed(mowed) all the trails down to prepare for snowmaking.. The lights were on at the summit last night... don't know if that means anything...

Also getting word that they are shooting for the weekend before Thanksgiving but will be ready to blow snow before that if the weather is good enough.. As usual...

Thanks for the update, D. Please be sure to post a pic of the mountain in its manmade blizzard once they commence.
