seems like Mountain Creek and the Poconos might be the place to be tonight.

Does mentioning the "end of season" in a ski forum...during the 1st week in March constitute a "Man-town trial"? *smirk*
In all fairness, the question was about the "end of winter" and not the "e*d of the season".

This week may be the last hurrah of true winter weather (hope I'm wrong), but even if that's the case there's a ton of snow and plenty of spring skiing to do...8)

on a more serious note, my ski ski season is now beginning to kick into high gear due to winter sport seasons ending for the children. For the past week, I've been going to every weather related website I can find in an attempt to glean any bit of information about the extended forecast. From my expert web surfing, it appears that winter will hang on up in the mountains for another two weeks at least. Even this weekend doesn't look particularly grim like it did a few days ago. Interestingly, and perhaps as a new thread, the overall cumulative snow totals (below average) of this season may truncate the season up on mt. washington.

What's the point of posting this thread anyway? If other members say it's over will you stop skiing? Will you continue if we say it's not over?I don't get it.

maybe we are trying to "reverse hex" the end of winter?

kind of odd that we have some pretty brutal temps in the Northeast right now. I just hope it sticks around.

Hmmmmmmmm. Next week at Sugarloaf should be primo conditions, the Bush should still be amazing when I get back from break, and a day or two at Tucks in May. Yeah, I think it's just about over.
