OK, here goes:

:argue:

What did you think of Kerry's speech last night on TV when he accepted the nomination?

I thought that it was very well delivered for him. He hurried through it a bit at times, his content was good and moving, all in all, well done.

It will be interesting to hear GW.

was really impressed with kerry's speach last night. was really really surprised at some of the things he said including his emphasis on values and religion whereas dems are normally very secular and not value oriented (in speeches and words i mean, not in practice - most politians are morally corrupt by default). also, i think kerry took a much harder line than many had anticipated. in other words, the guy has some passion and back bone. cool. i heard some specifics that i hadn't heard before, but wanted a few more specifics.

before i considered kerry the most electable democrat that ran for the election despite me thinking that there were better candidate's and better options. i.e. a lesser of two evils vote. hearing kerry step it up and deliver a speech like a leader has committed my full support for him as a president, not just an anti-bush vote that i was going to do before.

I thought Kerry a bit of a stiff prior to this campaign, seemingly looking for the "correct phrase" when caught on tape. Regarding Thursday evening, I thought he did a good job expressing general points and didn't allow himself to become a frothing fool like Al Gore did in 2000. Obviously he held back on specifics to minimize exposure from the Bush/Chaney handlers… just look at the attack W made Friday morning, is he afraid of something?
