Glad you had a good time. We should take some runs next season.

BMM - Most def., but only if my conditioning gets past the "totally embarrassing" point...

BTW, in reflection, my last run of the trip, on Cliffs, when "Red House" by Jimi came on my Zune on shuffle, might have been my favorite run ever, since I started skiing. Certainly my favorite this year, so far: spring bumps, bright mid-afternoon sun, perfect tune, and fantastic lines everywhere. Bonus was getting to ski behind a father, mother and their little son, all of whom were rippers. The young Mom was especially, um, awesome....

Anyway, good job! Keep it up!

Fun for any part of a mountain!
...For the day-long outings..it just takes some hiking to scout out a mountain....usually just a few blowdowns....and I find GPS plotting helps a lot... I've just started doing it...but works well for pinpointing the rocks that need lots of cover. It take time to find areas and logistics of meeting up with cat-person at some sort of mid-way point where your descents drop off...(and they do in Maine..) when off the resorts, but once done..it's a lot of fun...and if you like dredging over maps, whether old-fashion or digital....it's fun.
