keep it up for sure, but let's not get carried away. it's a nice start but there's a long way to go ...
this reopening is all well & good but did spin do anything about the bug crawling on the k1 webcam.

Lol, someone used the term C.L.I.T.S. over there. that pissed me off to no end. you cant be tossing that term around without the inside knowledge.
First to Open and stay open for the season it's looking like!
SR:
"Sunday River is closed for the time being, but making snow and looking forward to a possible opening this Thursday! Part of $14 million in capital improvements, Sunday River's upgraded snowmaking system is working round the clock to make snow. Check back here for the latest opening and terrain updates."
MS:
Still shooting for this weekend. Looks like most of their snowmaking has come to a hault. http://mountsnow.com/livecamshot.html
SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!
Very cool! Anyone going? Can I look forward to TR on Thursday with pics?
I'm not going skiing until this weekend...I need a TR to hold me over.![]()
I should be able to handle a TR for 'ya Glenn for the "home hill"![]()
Good for K. and K skiers.
I still have 8 days of lift serviced in at SR. Missed the soft opening on the 30th of Oct. Competition is good for all of us. I wonder if "Sr" pushes up its opening. I doubt it. I don't mind they closed mid week to save a few dolalrs. They have been open weekends when I could go.
Ni kidding.
All right now. Enough with the chest thumpin'. The jury is still out until we see how late Killington remains open.
So far so good though.
It's a good start. No chest pumping here..I'll be making turns tomorrow!

Waaaaaiiiit a second. Weren't you ribbing on Killington for not opening over the weekend? Or at least you were agreeing with those that were....
Come on Bob. Keep it real....![]()
I thought SR went above and beyond to open for last weekend.
I have no issue with mid week closures.
K could have opened last weekend if they made an effort. IMO I understand why they did not. I think its great there is competition. Its good to have K back as an agressive force.
I guess the Someday bigger still sits badly with me:-D. I skied. Maybe I'm on both sides. I don't see it that way. Two decent approaches. One better than the other.
I don't believe it was me that posted that orignally. I thought you migth pipe in on this thread, Enjoy the turns. less time to bitch and more time to turn for us all.
seconded. We gonna see you at the Big K this season? You should come over when the rest of your SR crew makes the trip. We'll be hittin up MRG with them as well. It's about a 50 minute drive from K so we can ski both throughout the week. Try to make it over with T and W, MB, and GoBU. Do it. Just do it!!!
