It was kind of chilly to be drinking a beer on the triple today. A couple-a weeks ago when it was 60 and sunny was a completely different story.

Yeah. I was kind of hoping for that nice chalky talcum powder surface. Other'n Mouse Trap, I didn't find it. I presume they're far more interested in getting down a layer that will stand up to a pretty significant thaw & a ton of traffic. Probably the right thing to do in mid-November.

Agreed. People will bitch when there is nothing left after a warm spell. After it gets skied and groomed more it should be fine. Maybe a new coat of softer stuff is planned in the short term anyway. edit
