conditions: machine groomed

Hats off to killington snowmakers and grooming crew for turning a lot of frozen precipitation into good quality snow. It was raining all the way from CT to the K 1 base lodge this morning but it soon tapered off. The gondola was on ice hold till about 10 of 10 but there were plenty of other lifts running so lines in the Am as well as through out the day wre no problem. All runs were groomed except chute on Snowdon which had some decent bump lines. As the weather improved more and more people came out and the snow quickly got skied off. By 1.30 I was done and on my way home. They should be opening rams head and lower eastfall this weekend. I expect large crowds a few ho-hum pixs.
