Taking into consideration that tomorrow is Valentines day your drawing is very appropo. However, the only terrain I see you can't get to via Snowdon Triple is Cascade and Downdraft Headwalls and Catwalk, you can hit every other spot within your heart taking Snowdon Quad, yes, you may need to take Canyon Quad or North Ridge Triple, but you can get to them. Taking it a step further, you can get to Superstar, Needles, and Bear by starting out on Snowdon Triple.

Avoid the temptation to travel back and forth between pods all day. The width of the resort means lots of mileage on flats if you're trying to go end to end. Skiing the pods is better than traversing them.

Disclaimer: I am a former regular, now just in the spring pretty much. The trail network has changed some to address some of the offending runs, but I'm sure this is still common.

Ok, I thought you meant just taking the triple.

Dave, I know you are familiar with the mountain and know how to enjoy it. Unfortunately not everyone knows how to experience Killington. Many take the best out of it, you can't think in terms of going up one lift, ski down repeat. To truly enjoy it you have to learn to explore the trail and lift system. Start out at Ramshead, work your way over to Snowdon, then Killington. From there head over to Bear next up Needles and the down to Skyship base. Work your way back up to Skype take Superstar Quad back up and do Superstar or Ovation back down. You can probaby do all that without taking the same lift twice, might be one or two exceptions. That's the Killington experience for me.

If that's your line of thought you can get to it from any lift on the mountain.

You are correct. But my point is, you can stand in a 15-30 min line at the gondi, or you can spend 5 min tops on two lines, South Ridge Triple, Northridge Triple and/or Canyon Quad. Also, keep in mind the title of this thread. Just trying to help.

Andy's thinking is correct. Plus, it is a good way to "sample" more of the mountain as well. There is never a line at North Ridge or the Canyon. 5 minutes at both would be "crowded". Except early season when only North Ridge is open.
