‘Free hot dogs and drinks at the base of the North Ridge chair. Peak and K1 lodges also had free (better) food - jerk chicken wraps, chicken burgers, etc.

Anyone know what is going on with the north ridge quad? Day two and they have it shut down for 30+ minutes a little after 10AM.

Looks like it’s up and running and the canyon quad is also spinning. Any idea if they’ve blown snow down the lower half of East Fall? I assumed only the upper, blue portion was covered.

Maybe they'll switch it up this year and go t to b in the canyon before Snowdon, but probably not Snowdon is alot better route for the inexperienced masses

Good luck on the weekend! They seem to be having an issue with north ridge quad, they had to shut it down for over an hour today, and even when it was running it was stopping every few minutes until the crowd died down.

Nice pics, I see Bird Man made and appearance. I stopped at K on my way home from Sugarloaf, spring 2012. I went every spring thereafter, every weekend, late season up until Covid. What a cast of characters! I heard the Meat Head guys got Radio Ron a brand new old stock onesie exactly like his as his was showing it's age. How cool is that.

I didn't even realize they are just about at the amount they need on the trail already other than some "finishing touches". I was oblivious to the fact that they had that much run time on it already to put that snow down. Guess I haven't been looking at the cameras that much lately.

Conditions were very good this morning. Upper dd's were both open on natural with surprisingly good coverage. It felt great to be skiing on real snow but as expected the crowds were horrible, 2 hrs was all I could take. K1 lot was full with people parking in vale. There was a groomer working on superstar. I might brave the crowds again tommorow
