Per the 8:30 update:

Hey there, Beast Fans. You will now be able to ski and ride down to the North Ridge area via Upper Great Northern, but you will still need to take the Peak Walkway stairs back up to the K-1 Gondola and download to the base.

They also mention no East Fall due to snowmaking repair.

That pipe on upper east fall blows out every year. Maybe they should replace it.

Wish I could be in the control room to see how their flow numbers change with the HKDs up top this year.

Is there a reason other than the World Cup that they can't get skiable terrain down to Northridge on opening day? In the early days of the walkway you only had to walk up at the end of the day...

We skied down today. They had one week of down stairs

I’m still skiing. Got a nice 10k skied. I’ll call it after 1. Feels good to shake the rust off
