Hunta's got a rep...you gotta a problem wit dat?

I credit my defensive skiing skills soley at the feet of hunta mountain. L've also learned
1. Ski the sides of trails..because that's where the only snow left in the afternoon
2. Single or mismatch my skiis with a buddy...lost a my then girlfriends skis there once...K2 was nice enough to sell me a pair for $99.00.
3. ALWAYS stop on the side of the trail and look up hill...bongo skiier at 225 and 6ft blasted my little sister-in-law over in Kennedy Drive. Concuscion
4. Ski a straight line, crank out the turns and ski fast. They can't cut you off if they can't catch you.
5. Keep my hnad near my face in the lift link to avoid getting impaled by a ski pole.
I love hunta, just not on the weekends. I mean I'll go ski hunta on the weekend, I just won't take my family, I'll be at Belleayre.
The Hunter Mountain ski school is great, the staff in the lodge are freindly, the lifties are helpful, the food is actually pretty good, and they don't rape you for a pint. I really have to check out the sushi....but I'm a bit leary...DMC (and what's your name again) said it's good, so I'll give it a shot.
Oh, and another thing about hunta. Kids ski free midweek up to 16. Can't beat that. Gotta get the kids to the west side this year.
Plus Hunta's closer than everything else for me.
